Happy New Year

Happy New Year! After an extremely busy and challenging year in 2021, I'm sure that everyone was looking forward to having some time to rest during winter vacation. I hope that everyone was able to relax and spend some quality time with their family, friends, and loved ones.

And while many students (and teachers) still wish for their vacation to be longer, today is the first day of school after winter vacation. Today, students had an online school assembly (全校集会), and their homework review exams. Not many students enjoy exams, but it is a good chance to review what was studied before vacation, as well as help get back into school mentality for the final part of this school year. 

With students become 3rd year students in April, now is the time for students to think develop their studying habits in order to prepare for their university entrance examinations next year. In addition to study, it's also the time for students to take their last chance to enjoy their club activities, classmates, and school lives before they become busier in 3rd year. 

I know it's always difficult to return to school after vacation, but I hope students were able recharge and have enough energy to get them through the final few months as 2nd year students.
